General Manager of Facilities and Administration - Carlton North
We are seeking a General Manager to manage and lead the Administration and ICT teams and functions undertaken with these areas of operation at Carlton North, Docklands and North Melbourne. 
 
Areas of focus of the role are:
- ICT, Administration and Process Management
- Facility and Grounds Management
- Budgetary and Service Contract Management
- Purchasing, stock and property management
- Compliance and related regulatory application
- Staff Management and Leadership
 
To be considered for this position the following selection criteria must addressed in your application:
- Have been employed within a role that has required facilities, administration and ICT management application
- Demonstrate experience in managing projects from inception to completion and meeting deadlines
- Able to act in accordance with organisation requirements and drive continuous improvement that supports efficient and productive work practices
- Demonstrate commercial application across adminsitration, purchasing and budgeting, as well as have a provide ability to manage diverse work practices
- Able to create a maintain strong service driven relationships that support required outcomes across all business units
- Stong communicator accompanied by a 'can do' work application
- Advanced Microsoft suite skills and understanding of organisational ICT needs
 
The role is positioned within the Executive Management team and will report directly into the CEO. The position will require presence across all three work sites and therefore the successful incumbent must hold a current drivers licence to accommodate travel requirements.
 
 
Manager, Professional Learning - North Melbourne
We are seeking a Manager to lead the Professional Learning and Development team and deliver education services that are valued and needed by the early childhood sector.
 
Areas of focus of the role are:
- Staff Management and Leadership
- Development of professional learning services
- Networking and growth
- Pedagogical leadership
- Reporting and contract management
 
To be considered for the position the following selection criteria must be met:
- Must have completed recognised training within Children Services or related recognised training in Education and Professional Development
- Must have been previously employed within a similar role that required leadership application
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks as they apply to the Victorian and National early years workforce, including out of school hours care
- A working knowledge of education practices including on line, action research, coaching, mentoring and learning communities
- Proven management skills with strengths in leadership, communication and employment practices
- Contract management skills, able to negotiate service delivery costs inline with organisation practices and required outcomes
- Able to competently perform under limited direction and monitor own work and inputs from others
- Forward thinking, able to grasp complexities of the internal and external environment
- Microsoft Suite skills and understanding of professional eLearning delivery practices

Early Childhood Educator - Carlton North
We are seeking a motivated, energetic and inspirational person to work as part of a dynamic team. The successful incumbent will work in a proactive and positive manner to ensure quality educational outcomes for the children and hold a Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services.  Experience working under the National Quality Framework is preferred, as is experience working with children under 3 years old.
 
This position is:
- full time (parental leave position) and will commence on Monday 12 March
- located in Room 1 with children age 0-3 years
 
 

 
Professional Learning Presenters
Expression of Interest
We are seeking expressions of interest from early childhood educators with Early Childhood experience in the areas of FDC, LDC. OCC and additional needs to join our Professional Learning Team.
 
Professional Learning Presenters are required to deliver our Professional Learning Program sessions and Customised Training. These positions are available on a casual basis. It is preferred that applicants hold Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and previous experience presenting to the early childhood sector is essential.

Gowrie Victoria is an established provider of childcare and early childhood educational services across Victoria. Initially established at Carlton North, Gowrie Victoria has expanded to add their newly constructed centre at Docklands to their portfolio. Due to successful growth, Gowrie Victoria is able to offer ongoing Casual employment to Cert III and Diploma qualified Early Childhood Educators at either Carlton North or Docklands locations.
